: Auguste Renoir (1841-1919)Product Description:
Quality poster size 60x80 cm.
Auguste Renoir painted this in 1876 in Paris.
Moulin de la Galette was a place in the Montmartre district
who gathered the working class on Sundays, where they dressed
danced, ate galettes and drank. This is an impressionistic one
snapshot of a genuine environment. Renoir also painted a slightly smaller one
painting, which is largely identical to this large one, which hangs
Orsay Museum. The smaller one had disappeared for a while, but in May 1990
it was sold to a Japanese multimillionaire for $ 78 million.
He eventually went bankrupt and Sotheby´s sold it to one
"secret" Swiss collector for a secret waste.
