Gunilla Mann was born in Gothenburg and grew up in Majorna and Masthugget: She studied at the Handicraft Association 1962-67 and at Börge Hovedskous Painting School 1968-72. For many years now, Gunilla has divided her time between the beautiful Österlen and the always crowded Söder in Stockholm.
Gunilla's paintings, lithographs, fine art and gouaches have been called both coloristic gems and depictions of folk life. She is known for her own naive narrative style characterized by great detail.
